About this role

Conducting sleep studies, sleep staging and technical scoring of sleep events according to AASM standards
Provides QA feedback
Works closely with Team Leader, Supervisor, Manager and Medical Director
Assures excellent quality in diagnostic and therapeutic services in the Sleep Lab
Provides excellent patient experience by following protocols, policies and procedures
Patient assessment to determine patient specific needs
Comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including polysomnography, extended EEG, MSLT/MWT, application and titration of oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator, airway management, trach capping, blood gas sampling and analysis and patient/family education
Skill in calibration and troubleshooting of diagnostic equipment
Implementation of new test modalities
Assists in overseeing supply inventory, mentoring other staff, including orienting and supervising the work of new sleep technicians.
Provides coverage as needed
