Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the Supplier Quality team, enabling continuous technical and career development.
Develop and implement regional supplier quality roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives.
Identify suppliers in need of quality system and performance improvement and lead supplier development activity.
Lead escalations and crisis management for critical suppliers impacting North American operations.
Champion digital quality tools and analytics for proactive supplier performance management.
Ensure quality plans at suppliers are adequate to support business growth and key strategic initiatives.
Work cross-functionally to ensure supplier quality activity is applied for new product development, including supplier qualification, sourcing decisions, print reviews, and PPAP.
Prepare and present reports on supplier quality performance to senior leadership.
Act as a key advisor to Procurement and Operations leadership on supplier quality risks and opportunities.
Work as part of a global leadership team to develop and improve the global supplier quality program.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
8+ years of progressive experience in supplier quality management, including leadership roles.
Proven track record in global supplier development and quality systems implementation.
Expertise in advanced problem-solving, risk management, and strategic planning.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with ability to influence at executive levels.
Global supplier audit experience and familiarity with multiple manufacturing technologies.
Functional knowledge of multiple manufacturing processes and material science.
Accomplished change agent with strong business aptitude and analytical skills.
