You will be the primary supplier relationship owner for AP1000® WBS 8 Valves projects
Be an interface between project teams including project management and engineering and the supply chain organization
Maintain a comprehensive commodity strategy to improve Total Cost of Ownership while ensuring supply continuity through identification and mitigation of current and emerging risks and opportunities
Lead the execution of procurement strategies through preferred supplier lists. This involves the rationalization of nonpreferred suppliers and structured awards of business to preferred partners with long-term agreements. These agreements aim to achieve measurable year-over-year improvements in cost, quality, delivery, service, and profitability.
Review and interpret data from PowerBI and other analytical tools to identify commodity cost drivers and apply insights to sourcing decisions and supplier negotiations
Lead regular supplier relationship management reviews with necessary and strategic suppliers, engaging teams and senior leadership
Prepare and deliver materials for supplier reviews, commodity strategies, risk mitigation plans, 4 Blocker assessments, and supplier or commodity gap analysis
Requirements
BA/BS degree required (Preferably MBA)
Minimum 10 years of procurement experience (preferably within industries with complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects, with a focus on procurement)
Minimum 10 years of experience in negotiations including RFI, RFP, RFQ and contract development
