Regulatory assessment of products (food, dietary supplements, cosmetics, chemicals) with regard to legal requirements and internal safety, quality and logistics standards
Review of product labeling & claims for the above areas (labels, mandatory information, claims, warnings)
Ensuring legal compliance (in particular LMIV/Food Information Regulation, health claims, (EC) No. 1223/2009, REACH/CLP) as well as maintaining and further developing requirement profiles and quality standards
Preparation of inspection reports and decision on release or blocking of items, including documentation
Intensive communication with our suppliers regarding requirements, labeling and claims, as well as close coordination with our internal interfaces

Initial professional experience in a comparable position, ideally from QA/Regulatory Compliance
Completed vocational training or degree in food chemistry, nutritional science (Ökotrophologie), cosmetics, chemistry or a related field
Additional qualifications in food/cosmetic law, health claims, chemicals legislation or a similar qualification desirable
Knowledge of EU/German law for placing products on the market; confident in labeling and claims
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and deliver results
Proficient IT user skills — MS Office and SAP
Strong communication skills with fluent German and English
