About this role
Role Overview
- Oversee day-to-day financial activities for the Business Group
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Coordinate and manage quarterly and annual external audits
- Develop and present internal financial reports and analysis
- Prepare financial reports for external stakeholders
- Lead, coach, and develop Accounting staff
- Maintain the Business Group's system of accounts
- Partner with Corporate Internal Audit for enhanced controls
- Ensure adherence to GAAP
- Lead the consolidation and preparation of financial plans
- Serve as the key interface between Accounting and IT
- Lead on importing programs and compliance initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience
- At least 5 years in a leadership role
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with ERP platforms
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Demonstrated success building, developing, and leading high-performing teams
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
