Role Overview
- Supervise and manage the Transportation team, overseeing daily truck operations
- Review and address driver events recorded by camera systems
- Manage truck maintenance vendors, coordinating scheduled and emergency maintenance, and recommend truck replacements
- Oversee fuel vendors and reconcile fuel invoices
- Supervise and manage the Distribution Center team, overseeing daily receiving and pulling operations
- Monitor inventory accuracy
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with daily truck operations in a logistics environment
- 2+ years of previous management experience
- 2+ years of experience ensuring DOT compliance and handling Unified Carrier Registration fees
- 24-hour availability for coverage
- A high school diploma, equivalent work, or a combination of work, education and military experience
