Role Overview
- Build relationships with customers via multiple channels to provide banking counsel
- Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, processing account information
- Educate clients on deposit and loan products
- Foster relationships through proactive outreach and follow up
- Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products
- Provide a consistent optimal client experience
- Open new consumer and business accounts and complete service requests
- Educate clients on self-service digital products and services
- Leverage resources to optimize the client experience and operational excellence
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically has a minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
