Analyzing our audiences, aggregating data to support internal requests, and helping discover ways to optimize/automate processes
Work directly in support of other teams to deliver insights into our content and web traffic
Evaluating performance of marketing campaigns using Sheets/Excel and data visualization tools
Use data visualization platforms to pull and analyze data effectively
Gain an understanding of audiences of interest and pose questions about their behavior to better understand their value
Assist with ongoing reporting and help to give the “why” behind the numbers
Own the maintenance and update of monthly dashboards as well as identify opportunities for automation
Look for anomalies in large datasets and investigate potential causes
QA and validate dashboards to ensure accuracy and ease of use for end users
Utilize AI resources to fine tune processes and drive innovation
Requirements
Interest in learning new analytical tools
Hands on experience with Google Sheets (preferred) or Excel, utilizing at least vlookups, sumifs, countifs, and average/max/min
Strong data handling skills with attention to detail and accuracy, such as the ability to identify extreme outliers and flag for review
Yearn to ask questions to gain a better understanding of a concept or the data
Ability to think creatively about challenging problems
Familiarity with the basic concepts of web analytics (page views, visit/session, visitor, referrer, time on site)
Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
Bonus Qualifications include (not required, but are a plus): Google Analytics / Looker experience, Exposure to BigQuery and Structured Query Language (SQL), Interest in media and healthcare
