Responsible for the development, expansion, planning and design of the underground transmission system
Assists with engineering input on maintenance and operation initiatives
Evaluates system failures and provides appropriate resolutions
Supervises, assigns, prioritizes, and directs the work performed by other Engineers
Ensures that the transmission system is designed to internal and industry standards
Supports the design of underground transmission lines at each phase of development.
Manages contractors onboarded to perform external engineering functions
Coordinates schedules and deliverables with the project teams.

Requires a BS Engineering or BS Engineering Technology
An electrical/civil/mechanical engineering degree is preferred
An advanced degree in Engineering or Business Administration is preferred
A minimum of eight (8) years of experience is required
At least five (5) of those being in the technical, operational, or engineering aspects of underground transmission
Working knowledge of standard office computer software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.)
Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., AEIC, ICEA, CIGRE, IEEE)
Knowledge of Cymcap and Pull Planner preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
