About this role
Role Overview
Accelerate business performance by coaching and consulting with leaders and managers on people-related matters, aligning Technology talent initiatives with business priorities.
Partner with the CTO and their leadership team by defining and implementing standards for high-performance engineering teams, including technical career frameworks, engineering metrics, and talent density improvements
Drive company-wide alignment and efficiency by fostering seamless cross-functional collaboration across the People Experience organization
Establish executive trust and influence by serving as a strategic partner to business leaders, leveraging data to understand the Technology team’s talent needs
Elevate leadership effectiveness by coaching senior executives and leaders on talent strategy, ensuring people initiatives drive business growth
Lead Marqeta-wide people initiatives by providing HR expertise and executing performance management initiatives, career planning, performance cycles
Driving organizational decision by leveraging people analytics and organizational insights to advise on talent moves, retention strategies
Design and facilitate team and talent discussions to drive clarity, collaboration, engagement, and alignment across the organization.
Requirements
10+ years of progressive experience as a People Business Partner (HRBP) or in other talent roles
At least 5 of these years have been focused on partnering with technical leaders/organizations, ideally within a technology company
Experience in driving change management, leadership changes, organization design, talent strategy, performance management, coaching, executive relationship building
BA/BS or equivalent work experience; advanced degree in Human Resources or related area + PHR/SPHR preferred
Experience supporting C-suite leader(s)
