About this role
Role Overview
Plans and executes test activities including creating test plans, testing new content, logging/prioritizing bugs, and assisting with bug triages
Collaborates with other QA team members, developers, producers and project managers
including reviewing test plans and strategies, escalation of risks, and reporting on test plan progression
Works on projects at various stages of development, from pre-production through to live operations
Provides regular updates to Senior QA, QA Manager, Producers and Project Managers for the respective products
Monitors Player Support feedback channels to actively identify and escalate service issues
Assists Senior QA with release and testing process functions
Weighs-in on feature design and playtest prototypes for new games and features
Advocates for a culture of shared quality ownership throughout the studio and project teams
Inspires teamwork and collaboration
Requirements
2+ years experience in a QA role, preferably in digital/mobile gaming
A passion for user experience and making great mobile products
Knowledge of bug entry and collaboration tools, including JIRA and Confluence
Experience with G Suite tools including Sheets, Docs, Hangouts, etc.
Knowledge of testing phases and approaches, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end
BONUS POINTS FOR: Experience using Version Control Systems (Git, SVN, etc.), Unity, automated testing tools, Android Studio, XCode, Google Play Console and iTunes Connect and experience shipping mobile titles
