About this role
Role Overview
Provide coordination and project management for proposal writing, managing proposal timelines and deadlines to meet submission requirements
Analyze and understand the requirements of RFx, plan and develop proposals that will meet those requirements
Ensure RFx responses are produced and delivered by the deadline by driving to deadlines for information gathering, drafting, review, approvals, and delivery
Collaborate with sales and subject matter experts to gather information for RFx/questionnaires and develop and write response content
Conduct research to gather relevant information and data for proposals
Write and edit proposal content to effectively communicate key messages and value propositions
Review and proofread proposals for accuracy, grammar, and formatting
Ensure proposals are compliant with client requirements and align with company branding guidelines
Coordinate with graphic designers and other team members to enhance proposal visuals
Develop proposal templates and boilerplate content for reuse
Maintain a library of proposal content and templates for future use
Assist with special projects requested by Sales and Client Success, Operations, and Marketing personnel, as assigned
Requirements
Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and spoken) is strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Writing, Communications, Marketing, or related field is preferred
3+ years of experience in proposal writing or related role is preferred
Excellent writing and editing skills (in both English and French) with strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, including multiple projects with concurrent deadlines
Strong research and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), and proposal management/content management software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Experience in human resources, consulting services, and/or benefits administration is preferred.
