Generate new deal leads and prospects via cold calling
Actively manage assigned database ensuring all accounts are properly scoped and classified
Develop and cultivate strategic relationships with prospects and clients
Develop and implement sales strategy and tactical plan for maximizing deal flow
Partner with cross functional teams in order to facilitate the execution of deals
Perform modeling/forecasting, financial statement and cash flow analysis in order to determine deal feasibility and structure
Price loans and leases and services using pricing model and prepare client proposals
Requirements
Bilingual English/French fluency
Required
True hunter mentality: new business development experience
BS or BA in business or related field required
5-7 years in complex B2B sales environment, preferably selling complex financial concepts/products or other intangible products/services.
Experience selling in C-suite settings and influencing C-suite decision-makers strongly preferred.
Demonstrated sales discipline and record of sales success and experience leading the successful acquisition of new business through a structured process
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time within assigned (home) territory
Preferred experience in a financial services, customer-facing commercial sales position
