About this role
Role Overview
- Operate as part of a team of professionals responsible for the 24x7 availability of Geisinger's network, cloud, and data center infrastructure
- Monitors and maintains the IT infrastructure
- Deployment and maintenance of the IT infrastructure
- Consults with project teams to ensure compatibility with existing solutions, infrastructure, and services
- Creates necessary documentation of systems and infrastructure
- Assists other engineers in determining Infrastructure Change Management risk.
- Responsible for the lifecycle of IT infrastructure components
- Participate in verification of normal service after all scheduled repairs or upgrades
- Assists with troubleshooting and diagnosing errors in equipment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
