Role Overview
- Design, build, test, and deploy SuiteScript 2.x solutions following structured Dev/Test/Prod environment practices
- Lead the development and maintenance of NetSuite customizations, including scripts, records, fields, workflows, and integrations, with a focus on scalability and best practices
- Contribute to the expansion and optimization of HALO’s NetSuite instance by supporting subsidiary onboarding and continuous system improvements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and implementation partners to turn business requirements into well-architected technical solutions
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a CI/CD process for NetSuite development
- Ensure strong documentation practices for all customizations, integrations, and processes
- Participate in regular code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to standards
- Develop and enforce coding standards for NetSuite development to promote maintainability, scalability, and long-term system health
- Stay current with NetSuite updates and best practices, and share relevant insights or recommendations to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing within the NetSuite platform
- Strong proficiency with the NetSuite customization platform, including SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and related configuration tools
- Proven experience managing solution deployments across NetSuite environments with attention to lifecycle integrity and change control
- Solid understanding of NetSuite governance limits and script performance best practices
- Experience with source control tools and associated best practices
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex NetSuite issues and deliver effective, scalable solutions
- Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Skilled in writing documentation that supports knowledge transfer, team collaboration, and long-term system maintainability.
