Provide technical and design consulting services on electrical power distribution, electrical controls, lighting, fire alarm, access control, and communications.
Support projects and clients in the planning, design, and construction of water/wastewater facilities.
Develop project management skills, including managing budgets and delivery schedules.
Establish design criteria, perform design calculations, develop one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, and specifications.
Perform engineering services during construction, review equipment submittals, and respond to contractor RFIs.
Conduct field inspections and assist in construction, identifying deviations from design and monitoring safety compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
Prior demonstrated consulting experience with water/wastewater and industrial facilities a must.
Experience using AutoCAD MEP (2D and 3D), Revit, SKM Power Tools, short circuit calculations, overcurrent coordination, and/or arc flash analysis, and photometric study.
Solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code requirements.
Willingness and desire to mentor junior/staff electrical engineers.
