Creates various/experienced Cage-Cabinet design options that respond to customer requirements, Equinix Requirements and physical site constraints within a diverse scope.
Prepares notional Cage-Cabinet layouts, area calculations and diagrams for each individual data center and specializes in more complex, larger sites.
Maximizes space utilization to develop the best design solution for the Data Center and the customer.
Utilizes experienced knowledge of electrical/mechanical infrastructure to notionally attribute complex Cage-Cabinet designs against Data Center infrastructure within a diverse scope.
Participates in high-density review cases, seeking opinions of SME's or local sites where required.
Produces drawings and space plans for use by Sales, Site Operation and other teams.

Typically has 5+ years in data center capacity planning electrical system design, operations, maintenance.
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD/BIM tools).
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience; preference given to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
