Help patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and regain functionality
Assess patients' conditions and create personalized treatment plans
Guide them through rehabilitative exercises and therapies with a focus on Neuro
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities
Educate patients and their families on recovery techniques and injury prevention
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Supervise and instruct physical therapy assistants or aides
Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment
Stay updated with current physical therapy practices
Requirements
Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Current and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state in which the job is located
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation standards.
Over 1 year of experience in a clinical or hospital setting is required. Experience in a specialized area such as orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, geriatric, or sports therapy is a plus.
Must be able to pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screening and background check.
Experience in Neuro is highly preferred
