Senior Staff – Gas Turbine Operability Engineer

Role Overview

• Drives units and/or system level functional performance to deliver customer solutions
• Defines and conducts testing of components and/or entire engines
• Reports performance with respect to the guaranteed values in accordance with industry codes and standards
• Participates in the research, design, development, and enhancement of technologies in the areas of performance, operability, and cost optimization
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
• Established project management skills
