Role Overview
- Develop construction documents for federal, state, municipal, and commercial clients
- Perform calculations for projects including paving and dimensional control plans
- Perform stormwater system calculations and generate plans and profiles
- Generate overall and detailed grading plans for projects
- Apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations
- Collect, adjust, and correlate data and recognize discrepancies in results
- Become familiar with City design criteria and standards
- Perform project assignments within the scope of work and guidelines defined by the Project Engineer
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Site Civil Design
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer License
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading, plan and profile production
