Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university
All ranges of experience will be considered, minimum 2-4 years of experience or more is preferred
Must be registered with APEGS or equivalent provincial regulatory authority (if applicable); preference given to candidates who possess the P.Eng designation
Must have operational, safety, and technical knowledge of current mining practices
Preference will be given to candidates with potash mining experience
Demonstrated positive safety behavior and safety leadership
Possess strong leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills are essential
Ability to develop technical and analytic skills to excel in a complex operating environment
Strong computer skills are required, including the use of MS Office and CAD programs
Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as independently
Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training and exposure to underground processes
