Manufacturing Excellence Manager

Role Overview

• Plans, directs, and coordinates Manufacturing Support activities
• Acts as a key liaison between global manufacturing locations and VP/Business Director
• Oversees Supply Chain Management activities
• Coordinates activities to improve efficiency
• Works with key staff to develop manufacturing strategies
• Supports customer launch activities and requirements
• Provides support and direction to plant and business unit quality issues
• Implements and coordinates corrective action plans

Requirements

• Knowledge of the specific principles and procedures of plant operations
• Supply chain management experience
• Launch management experience
• Quality systems knowledge
• Lean manufacturing knowledge
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must possess excellent presentation skills
• Ability to travel approximately 30%
• 50%
