Develop and own the messaging frameworks that articulate why MinIO and AIStor win.
Conduct ongoing research into market trends, customer needs, emerging technologies, and the broader data and object storage landscape.
Partner with Sales Enablement to create and deliver presentations, technical briefs, and enablement materials that help the field communicate our value proposition and close business.
Collaborate with Marketing and Engineering to develop and execute go to market strategies for product launches, campaigns, and key initiatives.
Engage directly with customers, prospects, and field teams to validate positioning, gather insights, and refine messaging based on real world feedback.
Support analyst briefings and influencer engagement with well researched market perspectives and compelling product narratives.
Build and maintain the competitive content that helps our sales and partner organizations win deals, including battle cards, objection handling guides, and technical comparisons.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 3 years focused on infrastructure software, cloud, storage, or data platforms.
Demonstrated expertise in market research, market analysis, and translating insights into actionable marketing strategy.
Strong technical acumen—you can credibly engage with engineers, architects, and technical buyers on topics like object storage, Kubernetes, AI/ML infrastructure, and hybrid cloud.
Proven ability to develop positioning and messaging that differentiates products in crowded, technical markets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating sales enablement content and customer-facing materials.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
Experience with enterprise software sales cycles and working closely with sales teams.
Experience in the object storage, data infrastructure, or AI/ML platform space.
Familiarity with MinIO, S3-compatible storage, or high-performance data architectures.
Prior experience at or competing against enterprise storage vendors such as Dell, NetApp, Pure Storage, Cloudian, or Hitachi.
Background that includes time in technical roles (engineering, solutions architecture, or technical pre-sales) is a plus.
