The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key contributor to the Reporting and Compliance team within Cambridge life sciences systems business (>$500 Mn in Revenue).
This role combines strong technical expertise with business acumen, focusing on financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and business partnering.
The SFA will play a key role in month end close/reporting, reconciliations, cash forecasting, foreign exchange analysis, audits, and preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.
The role will report to the Finance Manager (Reporting and compliance).
Requirements
Degree in Finance or Accounting
Ideally have CPA designation or enrolled in CPA program
A minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience is preferred
Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) and Microsoft Outlook
Superior Excel skills: Pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, modelling, etc.
Ability to determine relevant information for the target audience to provide informational requirements in a meaningful manner.
Must be hands-on, detail-oriented, able to consistently meet deadlines, and can conduct in-depth financial analysis and present it in a clear and concise manner
Strong organizational, planning, time management and problem-solving skills.
