Role Overview
- Build automation systems that handle complex insurance servicing tasks end-to-end
- Ship new automations in 1–2 weeks on average
- Compose backend business logic driving automation respecting complex insurance rules
- Design backend pipelines syncing customer policy data and delivering timely alerts
- Optimize and scale internal tools to reduce agent intervention
- Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering ops to anticipate churn
- Work asynchronously across time zones with minimal meetings but strong collaboration
Requirements
- At least 5 years full stack engineering experience building production-grade software
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and systems design
- Experience building large scale distributed systems for a fast-growing consumer-facing software
- Problem solver tackling ambiguous problems and iterating quickly
- Ownership of end-to-end outcomes, continuously improving the systems built
- Collaboration across teams and time zones with excellent communication skills
- Curiosity, adaptability, and love for learning
