About this role
Role Overview
Partner with Buying and Planning teams to understand workflows, identify efficiency opportunities, and resolve reporting or system issues, with strong attention to detail when working with large datasets.
Support business-critical initiatives through ad hoc analysis, dashboard development, and data investigation using Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools (e.g., Looker, BigQuery), and planning systems (e.g., o9).
Develop and maintain a working understanding of buying, planning, and inventory processes and the KPIs that support decision-making, applying critical thinking to evaluate mathematical and analytical outputs.
Maintain and update documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials for planning and reporting tools.
Monitor key performance metrics and regularly audit data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
2-4 years of experience in the retail industry or a similar field
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related quantitative field preferred
Proficiency in Excel; experience with BI or data visualization tools; and familiarity with SQL or a strong interest in learning programming language
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new systems while troubleshooting technical issues
Genuine interest in retail and subscription-based business models, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Clear and effective communicator with experience collaborating across functions and presenting or training at various levels.
