About this role
Role Overview
Play a key role in defining, developing, and deploying manufacturing processes and capital equipment across multiple facilities
Lead advanced manufacturing initiatives from concept through implementation
Manufacturing process development and standardization
Establish and deploy standardized manufacturing methods, tooling concepts, and best practices across multiple facilities
Lead the technical scoping, justification, and selection of new manufacturing equipment, automation, and tooling
Develop equipment specifications, layouts, and functional requirements in collaboration with operations, maintenance, and controls
Manage equipment projects from concept through installation, commissioning, and handoff to production
Work across multiple manufacturing facilities to identify opportunities for process improvement, capacity expansion, and technology deployment
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, throughput, scrap reduction, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
Requirements
Minimum 5–8 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment
Proven experience defining manufacturing processes and leading equipment implementation from concept through production
Experience working cross-functionally with operations, quality, sourcing, maintenance, and external suppliers
Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing environments involving metals, fabricated components, or complex assemblies
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturing environment
Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement tools, and structured problem-solving
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Working knowledge of 2D/3D CAD and manufacturing layouts
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
