Role Overview
- Play a key role in defining, developing, and deploying manufacturing processes and capital equipment across multiple facilities
- Lead advanced manufacturing initiatives from concept through implementation
- Manufacturing process development and standardization
- Establish and deploy standardized manufacturing methods, tooling concepts, and best practices across multiple facilities
- Lead the technical scoping, justification, and selection of new manufacturing equipment, automation, and tooling
- Develop equipment specifications, layouts, and functional requirements in collaboration with operations, maintenance, and controls
- Manage equipment projects from concept through installation, commissioning, and handoff to production
- Work across multiple manufacturing facilities to identify opportunities for process improvement, capacity expansion, and technology deployment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, throughput, scrap reduction, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment
- Proven experience defining manufacturing processes and leading equipment implementation from concept through production
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations, quality, sourcing, maintenance, and external suppliers
- Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing environments involving metals, fabricated components, or complex assemblies
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement tools, and structured problem-solving
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Working knowledge of 2D/3D CAD and manufacturing layouts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
