About this role
Role Overview
Serve as the architectural bridge between DnA and Engineering departments
Collaborate closely with data engineers, data analysts, data scientists and software engineers
Establish and enforce data architecture standards, best practices and design patterns across the organization
Ensure data models meet requirements for governance, security, privacy, reliability and performance
Support data governance initiatives, including data quality, lineage, metadata management and regulatory compliance
Own OLTP domain modeling and schema design
Create and maintain a domain map and canonical model, clarifying boundaries between services/domains
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related quantitative field
7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, software development or related roles
Demonstrated experience working in regulated industries such as insurance (preferred), banking or financial services
Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
Proficiency in multiple scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL)
Ability to collaborate effectively across DnA and Engineering teams, balancing analytical requirements with engineering constraints
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience designing and supporting cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure or GCP)
