Working under the direct supervision of a Portfolio Group Manager, Senior Group Sales Manager or Market President
This position’s primary responsibilities include credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management
The assigned portfolio will primarily consist of Wholesale Banking relationships
Perform due diligence, credit analysis, underwriting, recommend borrower, and facility risk assessment ratings and preparation of credit approval packages
Perform on-going portfolio management, monitoring, and risk management activities
Prepare annual or administrative reviews to assess client and guarantor financial performance
Performs reviews and forms opinions on third-party prepared due-diligence documents
Keep informed of current economic conditions and legislation which may affect client relationships and the Wholesale Line of Business
Requirements
Bachelor's degree is required
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred
7+ years of credit analysis, underwriting, portfolio management, relationship management, or a combination of related commercial banking experience
Credit analysis training or certificate program, advanced skills in underwriting larger complex commercial credits, and familiarity with syndication and participation credits is required
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations; to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and the general public
Analytical and financial analysis skills
Knowledge of loan documentation, loan agreements, loan structuring, collateral perfection and liens, general business contracts, etc.
Self-motivated and well organized
Customer service orientation.
