Role Overview
- Assists BCBA with baseline and ongoing assessments of new clients.
- Implements programs to address socially significant needs of the client.
- Works with BCBA to implement programming to promote communication skills.
- Creates, prepares, and organizes instructional materials.
- Train and monitor BTs and RBTs in the implementation of programs.
- Collaborates with family to implement programming and provides support to achieve prioritized family goals.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Must obtain RBT within 120 days of employment.
- At least 2,000 hours of training or supervised experience in the use of behaviorally based therapy models for children with autism spectrum disorders.
- Must be able to independently and repeatedly lift, move, and carry objects weighing up to thirty-five (35) lbs.
