Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or an equivalent STEM field and significant years of relevant industry/domain experience
Significant experience of direct people leader/supervisory experience
Demonstrates the GE Vernova Way: Innovation, Customers, Lean, One Team, Accountable
Prior experience as a leader of leaders in a global matrix environment (desired)
Knowledge of European Directive requirements including those for Machinery, Pressure Equipment and Explosive Atmospheres (desired)
Knowledge of applying global standard schemes including IEC, ASME, NFPA, CSA, EN and others as required by Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) (desired)
Knowledge in Functional Safety (IEC 61508 family of standards and related philosophy) (desired)
Proven experience implementing, using and coaching foundational lean skills/tools: Standard Work, Daily Management, Leader Standard Work, Problem Solving, KPI Development, Waste Identification (desired)
Gas Power Engineering tools knowledge: PLM – Dassault, Siemens Team Center; Confluence; Documentum; Project Tool Suite (PTS); Configure Price Quote (CPQ); PowerNow (desired)
Excellent communication and presentation abilities including working with large organizations and various levels of leadership, up to and including Senior Executive and Vice President leaders
