Role Overview
- Develop processes to produce, separate, and clean fine mesh rubber powder from existing product streams to meet advanced customer requirements.
- Improve fiber and metal separation efficiency within the powder production process.
- Ensure powder production meets customer specifications at the lowest possible cost.
- Execute and manage capital improvement projects related to rubber powder manufacturing.
- Partner with Sales to develop new product streams and support commercialization efforts.
- Support technology development initiatives, including future innovations beyond fine powder.
- Provide high-level engineering support to manufacturing sites across the network.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC-related issues.
- Collaborate with technicians and managers on process improvement efforts.
- Train personnel on new processes and process enhancements.
- Support PLC and HMI control system improvements.
- Assist with IT infrastructure needs connected to manufacturing technology.
- Serve as a technical resource for organizational optimization and standardization projects that drive cost reduction and performance improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
