Be skilled in administering Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, RHEL), including file systems (XFS, Ext4, etc.), networks, and user accounts, with strong knowledge of DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SSH, SNMP, VLANs, firewalls, load balancers, and IP address management (IPAM).
Demonstrate experience in DevSecOps environments (preferably using GitLab) with expertise in containerization, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWX/Ansible, and Bash scripting, along with STIG compliance, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
Be proficient in replicating production-like environments to identify and resolve issues or stage upgrades (kernel, Linux components, etc.), as well as developing troubleshooting guides, end-user documentation, and mentoring team members.
Establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence with your active directory knowledge and skills.
Creatively think out of the box to help with troubleshooting and support and provide innovative solutions that fit customers’ needs.
Requirements
Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance.
BA/BS degree in an IT-related field.
Certification meeting DoD 8140 DCWF Role 451 Systems Administrator requirements (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, GSEC, or similar.)
5 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.
