About this role
Role Overview
Oversee full accounting operations, including month-end closings, billing, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
Manage cash flow and contribute to liquidity management strategies.
Lead budgeting processes, forecasting, and the preparation of financial reports and analyses.
Ensure financial, tax, and regulatory compliance, including monitoring tax credits and grants.
Manage the year-end audit file and maintain relationships with external partners (e.g., auditors).
Contribute to special projects related to company growth and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
University degree in accounting (CPA designation is an asset).
More than 3 years of relevant experience in financial control or accounting.
Experience in an SME environment and/or a service company.
Strong interest in day-to-day accounting and well-controlled operational processes.
Autonomous, professionally mature, and sound judgment.
High level of rigor, reliability, and strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to use artificial intelligence pragmatically to improve efficiency and quality.
Comfortable working in a changing, solution-oriented environment.
Quick to learn and able to use multiple technology tools.
Intermediate English required to support external clients who are English-only.
