Provide individual and group therapy sessions within the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), for patients with substance use disorders, both in-person and via telehealth, embodying the Steadfast patient-first ethos.
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment and discharge plans that align with IOP level-of-care requirements and evidence-based best practices.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support patient recovery.
Collaborate with all clinic-level team members to formulate and execute patient care plans, including Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Peer Recovery Specialists, ensuring integrated treatment approaches.
Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary.
Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
Pioneer innovative ways of improving access and overall care for disadvantaged, marginalized populations.
Champion the company’s mission by modeling compassion and fostering trust and strong relationships with patients and communities.
Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and available resources to support sustained recovery and overall health.
Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in SUD treatment.
Requirements
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent licensure (LCSW, LMFT, etc.) in Ohio
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders
Minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy in an IOP, PHP, or comparable treatment setting
Certification in addiction counseling is a plus
Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is a plus
Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities
Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members
