Role Overview
- Support multidisciplinary project teams within the Power Providers Market Sector
- Collaborate on Advanced Power Generation (APG) projects
- Contribute to site development efforts including grading and drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities
- Develop and modify technical deliverables under general direction
- Utilize digital tools and design software to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation
- Proactively apply BV Quality Program to deliverables
- Review project requirements and ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Perform design calculations, material quantity estimates, and maintain records
- Coordinate with other design group personnel to exchange project information
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience
- Diploma or Certificate preferred
- Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected)
- Knowledge of standards, systems, document control, and departmental guides
- Proficient in digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
- Ability to provide technical guidance to other professionals and technicians
- Capability to handle difficult technical assignments within an area of expertise
