Senior Delivery Stream Engineer

Role Overview

• Verify quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse
• Evaluate all suppliers as requested by the Delivery Stream Manager
• Drive/Support Supplier Identification and down selection
• Drive/Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations (as needed)
• Lead Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation
• Execute Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points
• Create Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule
• Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with Suppliers and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members
• Manage execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points
• Drive/Support Purchase Order (PO) Change Notices (as needed)
• Ensure the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) has been completed to support shipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of experience (experience in contract/project administration, preferably of large, complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects is preferred)
• Experience preferred in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industry, or other highly regulated industries
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to support emergent project issues/supplier development
