Senior Data Scientist – Music Mission

Role Overview

• Drive the data science roadmap for music video supply
• Lead analytical projects with high autonomy
• Architect and own success metrics
• Lead the development of data modeling and inference frameworks
• Conduct exploratory analyses to identify engagement drivers
• Collaborate with ML and Engineering to develop systems
• Partner with Licensing, Marketing, and Product to guide feature launches
• Synthesize complex technical findings into actionable narratives

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working as a data scientist
• degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• fluent in python and SQL
• experience using AI-powered tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude)
• strong foundation in experimentation, causal inference, and exploratory data analysis
• comfortable owning problems end-to-end
• experienced applying machine learning or statistical modeling to content understanding, classification, or ranking problems
• partnered cross-functionally with senior stakeholders
• clear and compelling communicator
