Role Overview
- Collaborate with structural engineers and interface with other disciplines
- Guide junior-level engineers and designers
- Conduct structural analyses under the direction of the Structural Lead
- Develop integrated structural designs and perform supporting calculations
- Prepare technical specifications for structural materials
- Perform independent reviews of work and coordinate with engineers and project managers
Requirements
- BS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in design of oil and gas facilities
- Knowledgeable in structural engineering applications
- Proficiency with MathCad, STAAD PRO, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS
- Familiarity with design codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI 318)
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
