Work in a project team environment with other engineers and designers
Support the design of power plants and other industrial facilities
Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve a wide variety of electrical engineering issues
Assist project lead in ensuring projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget
Prepare and review detailed calculations
Prepare documentation for design input for drawing production
Interface with vendors to prepare materials and equipment purchase specifications
Prepare reports and studies that present technical information clearly
Perform independent reviews of work performed by others
Provide guidance as a mentor in the development of less experienced engineers.

A BSEE degree from a Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board accredited undergraduate program or a US based ABET-accredited program
5+ years of experience in power plant or industrial plant design
Experience in the selection of equipment, materials, control philosophy, and the preparation and assembling of calculations and specifications
Experience with electrical system design including medium and low voltage distribution systems
Technically knowledgeable of available equipment and proven pre-engineered systems to execute systems design
Experience with serving as firm/client liaison in a support or lead engineering role
Experience in reviewing other engineers design calculations and drawings.
