Develop and maintain analytics strategy that drives growth for Sun Life Health and improvements in Client health outcomes
Evaluate and prioritize across opportunities to predict and prevent health outcomes, personalize the client health experience, generate value-adding research, and commercializing insights
Partner with Sun Life Canada’s Client Experience Office to align with overall Canada data and analytics strategy
Execute the analytics strategy, collaborating within Sun Life health and across functional groups as needed
Mature data foundations to support data analytics strategy, including further enabling personalization of Sun Life Health products
Collaborate with Enterprise Data & Analytics, Data Architecture, and Technology teams to design and implement necessary data architecture and engineering
Apply relevant data analytics methodologies (including AI & ML) to deliver on our strategy
Lead execution of use cases and manage delivery both within the Data Science and Analytics teams, and collaborating with other Sun Life Canada businesses and functions as needed
Operationalize analytical models in the field by addressing technology, process and change management requirements
Develop and execute strategies to leverage real world data and evidence to generate actionable business insights and thought leadership, for internal and external audiences
Proactively foster relationships within Sun Life with business and functional partners to maintain an understanding of new developments in their areas.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years relevant business, data, and/or analytics experience, ideally within the health, pharmacy, disease management, or benefits industries
Experience leading data science and analytics functions to deliver value in a business context
Strong technical understanding of relevant data science and analytics concepts (e.g., predictive analytics, machine learning, AI), business intelligence, and relevant technology and tools
Experience in leading high performing teams and professional knowledge workers
Experience working with health, pharmacy, or benefits data an asset
University degree in business, engineering, computer science or related discipline
Bilingualism (French, English) required for Quebec only.
