Serve as engineering technical expert for the alternate supplier qualifications including specification analysis, commercial impacts, conducting initial impact assessment from the relevant technical aspects, SME coordination and approvals
Lead OI project management for new supplier approvals, substitution and consolidation projects to enable growth, cost optimization, and security of supply
Effectively communicate requirements and timelines to internal stakeholders for the implementation of OI projects
Liaison between Procurement and the engineering teams to find new opportunities and support tight material issues that arise
Collaborate effectively with global OI teams and other key functions including RDE, regulatory, procurement, supply chain and marketing
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline with 6 years of experience
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline with 4 years of experience
1+ years of project management experience
Problem solving and critical thinking skills are essential
Effective oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
Self-starter with strong initiative and personal accountability
