Provide highly visible customer support through on-site installation
Oversee necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems
Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system
Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects
Install, maintain, validate and repair PerkinElmer and/or multivendor instrumentation at customer site
Provide troubleshooting, repair, and qualification services for customers including warranty services
Communicate service offerings including training, support, software, laboratory services products and field upgrades
Partner with customers to understand analytical workflow and applications
Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to installation, warranty, and service agreement documentation standards
Maintain assigned assets including tools, test equipment, telecommunication equipment, assigned service parts inventory
Proactively develop technical and soft skills to maintain and enhance PerkinElmer’s value proposition to customer
Complete all administrative tasks including time reporting, assigned training, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline including military experience plus 2 years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment OR Associate Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline including military experience plus 4 years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment OR High School Diploma plus 10 years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment
Experience using Microsoft 365
Detailed knowledge of analytical equipment, laboratory environment, and/or instrument control software
Ability to travel by air, vehicle and/or other means of transportation as business requires.
