Role Overview
- Assist in the preparation and production of CBS13 and Good Day Sacramento Newscasts
- Assist producers with building rundowns and show formats
- Write for broadcast
- Coordinate graphics and video elements
- Support breaking news coverage with urgency and strong editorial judgment
- Collaborate closely with anchors, reporters, photographers, and assignment desk staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Television production experience and/or a college degree in journalism, communications, or a related field preferred but not required
