Maintain responsibility for meeting sales targets for Eurofins Discovery North America Biotherapeutics (BTX) services
Understand the large molecule drug discovery workflow and familiarize with new targets, trends and paradigms in the industry
Prospect within new and existing accounts for the client persona that requires BTX services
Develop and maintain high level client relationships through regular virtual and face to face meetings
Maintain a high level of technical and application competence and utilize this knowledge to drive business, promote and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Provide feedback and analysis to operations to improve/adjust/expand any Marketing strategies to promote the Eurofins brand and portfolio
Provide voice of customer feedback to management and seek innovation opportunities for BTX services
Utilize sales and marketing channels effectively including web site, ecommerce, marketplaces and participate effectively and proactively in customer events such as webinars, tradeshows and customer site events.
Use MS-CRM to log client meetings and significant calls as well as for the tracking of all opportunities
Provide monthly reports against key metrics as defined.
Work closely with Eurofins sales teams that have relationships within BTX accounts
Travel approximately 20-30% of the time.
Requirements
A degree in an applicable science (biology) and 5+ years of related sales experience
Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, and other web-based applications including LinkedIn
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Strong business development, organization, negotiation, scientific, and organizational skills, ability to multi-task
Deep understanding of Sales tools such as CRM (MS-CRM)
Customer-focused
Experience with hunting, prospecting, and lead generation
Ability to work well in a team environment but also capable of working independently
Ability to partner effectively as part of a team to solve problems, negotiate solutions, and reach a consensus
Valid driver’s license
Located near major airport and ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including locally, in support of driving business to meet revenue objectives
Authorization to work in the hiring country indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
