Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a science, business, or a related field is strongly preferred
A minimum of five years of proven outside business-to-business (B2B) sales experience is mandatory, including success in solution-selling concepts and a demonstrated history of managing a defined sales territory, preferrably in the medical field or medical gas industry.
Proven success using a consultative sales approach to establish a comprehensive mix of sales solutions and products by providing multiple layers of customer value.
Demonstrated success leveraging a deep understanding of the customer's business, current macroeconomic and microeconomic trends, industry trends, and identifying potential new business opportunities.
Experience with collaborative customer success management (CSM) platforms, such as Google Space and Salesforce.
Knowledge of customer segmentation and the ability to prioritize targeting customers that deliver the highest value to Airgas.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication, listening, organizational, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases, or prior industrial gas/welding supply sales experience.
Must have reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and minimum liability insurance as required by the state of vehicle registration.
