Senior Project Manager

Role Overview

• Manage multiple projects of varying sizes and durations
• Apply project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems
• Coach and mentor project team members
• Mentor other project managers
• Determine project scope
• Develop resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans
• Develop training plans and requirements documents
• Develop project approval matrix
• Coordinate requirements, schedules, implementation and post-implementation plans
• Develop service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms
• Define quality gates for each project methodology phase
• Define critical success factors and establish project warranty period

Requirements

• Requires a BA/BS in a related field
• Minimum of 5 years professional project management experience
• At least 3 years leading and directing project tasks
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly preferred
• Experience in developing and managing projects with significant budgets preferred
• Pharmacy Benefit Manager experience
• Experience presenting to leadership
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong facilitation skills
