Role Overview
- Develop key geometrical architectures that define the shape and functionality of a vehicle using 3D CAD, CAE, and physical prototypes.
- Work with product design teams to develop the vehicle CAD models starting from vehicle attributes and working towards a product that can be manufactured in high volume while meeting a wide variety of use cases.
**What you'll do...
- Ideate with engineers, designers, and other teams in creating new solutions for automotive applications.
- Problem-solve to find geometric solutions using 3D CAD that balance attributes with the product concept, business case, and other guiding principles.
- Using a systems design approach, optimize a vehicle’s topology to deliver efficient vehicle concepts.
