Role Overview
Define the life sciences product strategy. Identify the highest-value use cases.
Lead discovery with life sciences partners. Understand their workflows, data needs, buying processes, and willingness to pay
Drive 0-to-1 product development. Define requirements, partner with ML and engineering to build the product.
Navigate data strategy and compliance. Work with legal, clinical, and engineering to understand what data Abridge can use, under what conditions, and how to structure agreements that protect customer trust
Be the internal expert on life sciences.
Requirements
5-10+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent building products for or within life sciences. Pharma, biotech, medical device, or health data and analytics companies.
0-to-1 experience. You’ve shipped new products.
Commercial fluency. You've worked closely with sales, partnerships, or BD on early-stage deals
Comfort with ambiguity. You're good at running discovery, forming hypotheses, and updating quickly when you're wrong.
Strong cross-functional credibility. You can talk to ML scientists about model outputs, to lawyers about data use agreements, and to a pharma VP about their clinical development pipeline.
Clear, direct communication. You write and speak well. You can take something complicated and make it simple without losing precision.
