Role Overview
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams within the Power Providers Market Sector supporting Advanced Power Generation (APG) projects
- Contribute to power systems design, including duct bank modeling, cable tray modeling, grounding, lighting, and other electrical systems supporting advanced power generation facilities
- Perform technical tasks requiring general knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
- Create and modify technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering technicians
- Stay current on applicable standards, systems, document control practices, departmental guides, and BV policies and procedures
Requirements
- Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience
- Diploma or Certificate preferred
- Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
- Ability to create and modify electrical design drawings using advanced techniques in industry-standard design tools
- Experience with AGI32 preferred for lighting design to support accurate modeling and illumination calculations across APG facilities
